DRIVING LICENSE CLASS BA

Driving license class BA (automatic) in Düsseldorf & Mülheim - Learn relaxed. Drive safely. Automatic only.

The BA class is ideal for learner drivers who want to consciously do without manual cars. You learn to drive automatic vehicles - stress-free, easier, but with a small note on your license.

What you are allowed to drive

  • Passenger cars up to 3,500 kg gross vehicle weight

  • Max. 8 seats (plus driver)

  • Trailers up to 750 kg or

  • Trailers over 750 kg, if the entire combination weighs max. 3,500 kg

  • Only automatic vehicles permitted (note on driver's license)

Requirements

  • Mindestalter: 18 Jahre (oder 17 mit begleitetem Fahren)

  • Gültiger Sehtest

  • Erste-Hilfe-Kurs

  • Biometrisches Passfoto

The advantages of class BA

  • No clutch, no gear changes: easier driving

  • Particularly suitable for people with disabilities, novice drivers who are nervous or afraid of technology

  • Modern automatic vehicles with a high level of safety and assistance systems

Note

The driving license bears the addition “automatic restriction”. If you want to drive a manual car later on, you can complete the extension to B197.
